1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to store when you visit. The next time you visit the same site, your browser sends those files back, which lets the site remember things like your language, your session, or the choices you have made.
Not all of them are tracking devices. Some cookies are purely technical and the site cannot function without them. Others are optional and only run with your consent. We use both, but only the optional ones require your agreement.
2. Why we use cookies
We use cookies for three narrow reasons only.
- To remember your preferences — language, theme, and whether you have accepted analytics — so the site behaves consistently as you move between pages.
- To measure, in aggregate, how the site is used — which pages are read, how long sessions last, which devices are common — so we can invest in what matters to buyers.
- To keep the site secure and functional — detecting abuse, maintaining sessions where applicable, and diagnosing technical issues.
3. Essential cookies
We use a single first-party cookie for all essential functions on the public site.
Cookie name: app_prefs. Set by: Tresora (first-party). Purpose: stores your language, theme, and analytics-consent decision. Duration: up to one year. Legal basis: technically required for the site to work the way you expect — does not require consent under ePrivacy rules.
Authenticated sessions on the Tresora platform use additional technical cookies (for example, session tokens) that are governed by the platform's own documentation and the commercial agreement signed with each customer.
4. Functional cookies
We do not currently use any optional functional cookies on this website beyond the single essential cookie described above. If we ever introduce one — for example to remember UI state across visits — we will describe it here and make it clear whether it requires consent.
5. Analytics cookies
If you accept analytics via the consent banner, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies to measure how the site is used. We use GA4 exclusively for analytics: we do not use it to serve ads, we do not link GA4 signals to advertising audiences, and we do not pass your personal data to advertising services.
Cookies set by Google Analytics typically include _ga (client identifier) and _ga_<property-id> (session state). Duration: up to approximately two years for the client identifier. Purpose: aggregate usage measurement. Provider: Google LLC.
If you reject analytics via the banner, Google Analytics is never loaded in your browser — neither the script nor any of its cookies. If you accept and later change your mind, use the controls on this page to reject, then clear GA cookies from your browser to remove any already set.
6. Third-party cookies
The only third-party cookies that can be set on this site are from Google Analytics, and only when you have accepted analytics. We do not embed Facebook Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, X (Twitter) conversion tracking, TikTok Pixel, Reddit Pixel, or similar advertising trackers.
Embedded videos, chat widgets, and tag managers are also absent. If we ever add a third-party component that sets cookies, we will update this page first and obtain consent where the law or our practice requires it.
7. How long cookies last
Cookies fall into two duration categories:
- Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. We use these only where a transient technical function requires it.
- Persistent cookies last for a defined period — our app_prefs cookie lasts up to one year, and GA4 cookies last up to around two years when you have accepted analytics. You can delete any cookie at any time from your browser.
8. Manage your consent
Use the buttons below to change your analytics consent at any time. Your choice is remembered in the app_prefs cookie for up to one year. To clear it entirely and show the banner again, delete app_prefs from your browser.
9. Browser-level controls
In addition to our on-site controls, every major browser lets you view, restrict, or delete cookies set by any site. The exact steps differ by browser and operating system, but look for sections called "Privacy", "Cookies", "Site data", or "Tracking" in your browser's settings.
You can also use private or incognito browsing modes, which typically isolate cookies to the session and delete them when you close the window.
10. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
We recognise that browser signals such as Do Not Track (DNT) and Global Privacy Control (GPC) are one way you communicate a preference not to be tracked. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a rejection of analytics cookies and do not load Google Analytics, regardless of any earlier banner choice. DNT is a legacy signal and, where we detect it, we apply the same treatment.
11. Changes to this policy
If we add, remove, or change how cookies are used on this site, we will update this page first. Material changes will reset the date at the top of the page. Continued use of the site after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy for the essential cookies; optional cookies continue to depend on your explicit consent.
